Tim West makes briar pipes at home in Columbus, Ohio, he has been making pipes since 1975. Well known for the quality of his craftsmanship and design, his annual production is in the range of 1200 pipes per year, all of which are made by him. Over the years, Tim has designed many unique styles and shapes. His finest briar pipes are known as the "Best of the West" a true statement of the quality of his work. All of Tim's pipes are hand shaped one at a time from Greecian briar, cured for 5 years in the USA under his care.
