Kjeld (pronounced Kyell) Sorenson of "Red Hat Pipes" is a refreshing element among the established Danish pipe makers. After working for 25 years as an economist, he felt a hard need to develop his creative skills. After a year or so as a rookie in Tom Eltang’s workshop, Kjeld started a new life as pipe maker. He is not afraid to experiment and explores with great eagerness all existing shapes (and a few new ones too) – and obviously with great joy.
