Butz-Choquin "BC"

Tobacconist Jean-Baptiste Choquin ran a successful shop in Metz, France which included handmade pipes made on the premises. In 1858, his head craftsman, Gustaf Butz became his son-in-law. Together, the two began to market a new pipe brand "Butz-Choquin." In 1951 the Berrod-Regad company bought the brand and moved production to its current home, St. Claude, France. Known for innovative shapes and finishes, these pipes are striking examples of both the past and future of pipe smoking.
